EXPORTS & CRM WORKFLOWS

Make your prospect list
ready for follow-up.

Use a LeadFinder CSV export as the starting point for an organized research list. Review the records before importing them into your CRM.

Four steps before an import.

01

Keep the original export

Save an unchanged copy. Work on a separate file so you can trace changes and recover values if an import needs correcting.

02

Review available fields

Check business names, websites, phone numbers and email addresses where present. Keep phone numbers as text to preserve prefixes and leading zeros.

03

Match and deduplicate

Compare records with your CRM before importing. Use more than a business name alone when deciding whether two records describe the same business.

04

Test a small import

Map the CSV columns to the fields your CRM accepts. Import a small reviewed sample, check the result, then continue with the rest of the list.

KEEP CONTEXT WITH THE CONTACT

Record why the business is relevant.

Add your research date, the source of any observation and a clear reason for follow-up. Keep prior conversations and opt-outs visible so your team does not repeat an unwanted approach.

CSV export is a file workflow. Confirm any direct integration separately; automatic synchronization and compatibility with every CRM are not assumed.

Useful fields to add

  • Research date
  • Service fit and qualification notes
  • Source website
  • Follow-up owner
  • Last contact and opt-out status

Build a focused list first.

A clear category and location make the next review easier. Explore the mobile workflow, then check the export features and allowances in your plan.
